Max’s Kansas City, New York, 1977.

By the mid-1970s, Max’s Kansas City had become one of the central meeting points of New York’s underground music scene. Bands such as the Ramones, Blondie, Television, Patti Smith Group, and the New York Dolls all passed through its doors during this period.

Museum-grade archival standards.

Produced from the original negative, dated and hand-signed by the artist on the front, stamped on the verso, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by the gallery.

Vintage prints from the period are available on request.
