David Bowie

This collection begins with David Bowie’s formative years in early 1970s London, photographed by none other than Mick Rock, whose images would come to define Bowie’s most iconic visual era. The Music Photo Gallery presents original works signed by Rock, alongside vintage prints produced by the photographer during those decisive years.

As Bowie relocated to New York, a new chapter unfolded. Other photographers documented his evolving identity within the city’s cultural landscape, capturing moments that reflect his continued reinvention and lasting influence.
