Roberta Bayley is best known for photographing the cover of the Ramones’ debut album and for documenting the New York punk scene as chief photographer of Punk Magazine.

Her photographs captured the emergence of the Ramones, Blondie, Richard Hell, Iggy Pop, the Sex Pistols, and many of the artists who defined the visual identity of punk and new wave in the 1970s.
