Bob Gruen
Bob Gruen’s photographs are held in the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery, underscoring his place as one of the defining visual chroniclers of rock and roll history. His work has been exhibited internationally, including a solo presentation at Paris Photo at the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris in 2022. Over the decades, Gruen has documented artists ranging from John Lennon and Bob Dylan to The Clash and Ramones, creating some of the most enduring images in music culture.
The touring exhibitions presented by TMPG — including John Lennon, Ramones, Tina Turner, and Rockers — have attracted record attendance in several South American countries, underscoring the enduring resonance of this material with diverse audiences.
TMPG holds exclusive representation of Bob Gruen’s vintage archive and introduced this body of work at the London photography fair in 2018.
